The suprising city of Kaohsiung barely had an traffic or crowded sidewalks. Some of the building were impressive, especially the one that greet us when we woke up already docked. The whale-loke building turned out to be the cruise port.

A taxi took us to the wrong art museum. We wound up making friends with a Taiwanese couple that made its living with videos on Instagram. We found a great place to buy stuff.

We got back to the ship to see all the people who should have been in the streets standing one on a deck of the cruise port across from our balcony and waving to us until the ship pulled away. It turned out that this building had been close due to Covid until today and all the natives wanted to get their first look at this creative structure.
